[su_row]Mari Copeny is the 11 year old from Flint, Michigan, that the world has come to know as Little Miss Flint. A child activist and advocate for the children of Flint, Mari became known internationally when she wrote a letter to President Obama in 2016 regarding the Flint Water Crisis.  He was so moved by her letter he came to the city to see first hand how the Flint Water Crisis was affecting the citizens of Flint and what he could do to help.  Since then Mari has shown no signs of slowing down. Mari does her best to make sure that Flint and the children of Flint are not forgotten. Mari has traveled the country to speak about Flint. She has also raised hundreds of thousands of dollars for Flint Kids, thrown several movie screening, given away over 600 bikes, held events for Christmas, has given away over 15,000 backpacks filled with school supplies, and given away close to a million bottles of water to the people of Flint who still can not drink the water directly from the tap. Mari has received tons of national recognition including being the youngest in the Teen Vogue 21 Under 21 Class of 2017, the 2018 Essence Woke 100, and many more.
