[su_row][su_column size=”1/2″]Stephanie Affinito is a faculty member in the Department of Literacy Teaching and Learning at the University at Albany in New York. Stephanie regularly teaches graduate courses on elementary classroom literacy instruction, literacy intervention and children’s literature. She has researched literacy coaching as part of her doctoral studies and focuses much of her current work on how technology and digital tools can impact teacher learning and collaboration. She contributes to Choice Literacy and Lead Literacy and is publishing her first book with Heinemann Publishing in the Spring of 2018. She presents regularly at state and national literacy conferences on topics such as classroom literacy instruction, literacy coaching, learning with technology and digital tools and teacher collaboration. She lives in upstate New York with her husband and three children.

[/su_column] [su_column size=”1/2″]Heidi Weber lives and teaches in Loveland, Ohio. Heidi has a MA in Curriculum and Instruction, as well as a gifted endorsement and Level 1 Google Certification. As a National Board Certified Teacher, Heidi has taught self-contained 1st and 2nd grades; she is currently teaching 3rd and 4th grade gifted reading. Selected as a 2015 PBS Digital Innovator, she is also the proud recipient of the 2015 OCTELA Special Distinction Award for ELA Education and the 2013 NCTE Donald H. Graves Award for Excellence in the Teaching of Writing. Her list of professional presentations include local and county level, as well as at the state level for OCTELA, OTEC, ITIP and the Ohio Google Summit. Heidi has presented nationally for NAGC, NCTE, ILA, ISTE and Staff Development Educators. She is the proud author of several professional articles, an “advice” column for OCTELA and co-author of a chapter in Online Teaching Methods K-12.

[/su_column][/su_row][su_row] [su_column size=”1/2″]Cathy Mere is currently working as the Elementary Literacy Instructional Leader for Hilliard City Schools, Hilliard, Ohio. Cathy has taught grades K-6, worked as a Reading Recovery and reading support teacher, as well as a literacy coach. She believes in the power of children to shape, not just our future but, our today. She writes at Reflect and Refine, Merely Day by Day, and Choice Literacy.

[/su_column] [su_column size=”1/2″]Dr. Suzanne Porath has been an English Language Arts, history, and humanities classroom teacher and reading teacher for 13 years before becoming a teacher educator. She has taught in Wisconsin and American international schools in Brazil, Lithuania, and Aruba. Before accepting her current position as an assistant professor at Kansas State University in Curriculum and Instruction, she taught at Concordia University and Edgewood College in Wisconsin. She has presented at the local, state, national, and international conferences on various topics related to literacy instruction, use of technology in the classroom, and online professional development. Research interests include literacy education, professional learning, reflection, action research, strengths-based education, and online learning.[/su_column][/su_row]
