Kristin Ziemke is a nationally recognized expert in technology integration and in particular has garnered acclaim for her work with early childhood classrooms.  As an elementary educator in Chicago and as an international consultant, Kristin engages students in authentic learning experiences where reading, thinking, collaboration and inquiry are at the heart of the curriculum. Co-author of Amplify: Digital Teaching and Learning in the K-5 Classroom (with Katie Muhtaris) and Connecting Comprehension and Technology (with Stephanie Harvey, Anne Goudvis and Katie Muhtaris), Kristin pairs best practice instruction with digital tools to transform learning in the classroom and beyond.

Pernille Ripp is an expert in literacy and technology integration and dedicates her research and practice to developing engaged and empowered students and communities.  In 2010, Pernille founded The Global Read Aloud, a global literacy initiative that began with a simple goal in mind: one book to connect the world.
