[su_row]Tanny McGregor is an internationally-known keynote speaker and workshop presenter that brings nearly 30 years of teaching experience to her popular workshops. Originally a Cincinnati elementary school teacher, Tanny has been a literacy coach, a gifted intervention specialist, and a staff developer. Her workshops are known for their creative, imaginative, and engaging style. She is the author of two books, Comprehension Connections: Bridges to Strategic Reading and Genre Connections: Lessons to Launch Literacy and Nonfiction Texts. Tanny was a contributor to the seminal work, Comprehension Going Forward: Where We Are/What’s Next and she’s currently at work on a new book about visual notetaking. [/su_row]

[su_row] Shawna Coppola is a literacy specialist in a K-6 school and has also taught at the University of New Hampshire through the NH Literacy Institutes and UNH’s Professional Development and Training program. She currently has her hands in way too many things, the most exciting of which is a book about teaching student writers for Stenhouse Publishing, due to be released in summer of 2017.
