[su_row][su_column size=”1/2″]Jason Griffith is a Teaching Associate and PhD Student (English Education) at Arizona State University and the author of From Me to We: Using Narrative Nonfiction to Broaden Student Perspectives. A National Board Certified Teacher and Fellow of the National Writing Project, Jason taught middle school and high school English for 12 years in Carlisle, PA. In 2012, Jason received NCTE’s Edwin A. Hoey Award for Outstanding Middle Level Educator, and he currently serves on NCTE’s Middle Level Section Steering Committee.

[/su_column][su_column size=”1/2″]Alex Corbitt is a middle school English teacher in The Bronx, New York. His work focuses on socio-emotional learning, gamification, education technology, and literacy. He loves learning from other teachers and he regularly presents at conferences around the United States.

 [/su_column][su_row]Dr. Shanetia P. Clark is an Associate Professor of Literacy in the Teacher Education Department at Salisbury University.  Her research and teaching interests include young adult and children’s literature and the exploration of aesthetic experiences within reading and writing classrooms. She has published in journals such as The Journal of Language and Literacy, International Journal of Learning, The ALAN Review, and The SIGNAL Journal. She has published books chapters on children’s and young adult literature as well. Dr. Clark serves on the Middle Level Steering Committee of the National Council of Teachers of English (NCTE). She is also an active member of the International Literacy Association and the Maryland Teachers of English Language Arts. Dr. Clark is the co-editor of the State of Maryland International Reading Council journal Literacy: Issues and Practices.
