Can I Get A Witness? Testimonios, Texts, and Teaching in these Times
Dr. Carla España’s teaching, writing and research live at the intersection of ethnic studies, critical literacy, bilingual/ multilingual education, children’s literature, translanguaging, curriculum development, teacher education, and Latinx studies. She is author of her newest release, Narrative Writing with Latinx Teens: Testimonios, Texts, and Teaching, and co-author of En Comunidad: Lessons for Centering the Voices and Experiences of Bilingual Latinx Students and the Translanguaging Collections: Affirming Bilingual and Multilingual Learners Handbook with Dr. Luz Yadira Herrera.
