About Latinx KidLit Book Festival, from their website:

“The Latinx Kidlit Book Festival is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization. The Latinx KidLit Book Festival was created in 2020 during the COVID pandemic by members of Las Musas Books. Our aim was to connect Latinx authors and illustrators with readers and educators in classrooms around the globe. Since then, and with the help of countless volunteers, the festival has continued to foster a love of story and literacy as well as increase empathy and conversation among educators, students, and book lovers while uplifting the voices of Latinx kidlit book creators.”

About National Writing Project, from their website:

“The National Writing Project is a fiscally sponsored project of Community Initiatives which is a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt organization. We are a network of teachers, university faculty, researchers, writers, and community educators working to advance writing and the teaching of writing. We engage great educators at all levels and in all subjects in deepening their understanding of the teaching of writing and working as leaders in their schools, communities, and in the profession at large.”
