[su_row]Diana Fererra teaches 5th grade ELA in West Orange, New Jersey.  She is an active member in the district and a part of the Ed. Tech committee where she helps to plan and execute the coaching of teachers on effectively integrating technology into the classroom. Diana is currently finishing her Masters in Literacy with a Reading Specialist Certificate.  Diana received her Bachelor’s Degree from the Fashion Institute of Technology in New York City where she studied Advertising, Marketing & Communications and successfully worked in the field for nearly 10 years.   Her passion for her work is fueled by her love of people and her ongoing desire to excite and educate the next generation.  She believes that the one of the greatest gifts she can give to her students is the confidence to see themselves as readers and writers who have a voice. [/su_row] [su_row]Rebecca Giacopelli has been a teacher in the West Orange,NJ School District for over 13 years and has taught gifted education to students in grades K-7. She is a member of the West Orange Ed. Tech team where she helps coach teachers on how to implement technology with meaning in the classroom. She is passionate about teaching students that they have a voice and that their voice matters. In addition, Rebecca travels extensively and loves to learn about different cultures and tie that into her curriculum. Rebecca received her BA from Drew University and went on to earn her Master’s Degree from Kean University in School Counseling and a Certificate in Gifted Education from Rutgers University.  [/su_row]
