Our tech team is all volunteer and made up of engaged (and engaging!) educators from around the world.

Tech Team Leader

Jessica Walsh is the K-12 ELA Instructional Specialist for Indian Prairie School District 204,the fourth largest district in Illinois, serving 28,500 students from suburban Chicago. Before starting this role in 2017, she taught 7th grade English Language Arts in District 204 for 11 years. She holds a masters degree in Reading Instruction from Concordia University – Chicago. Jessica is a strong advocate for equity in education and literacy access for all, which is why she proudly supports the work of The Educator Collaborative. Tech Team Members

Dr. Lois Marshall-Barker is an Associate member of The Educator Collaborative and frequent contributor to our think tank. She has been a classroom teacher, Language Learner coordinator, instructional coach, and a professional development and curriculum specialist. She has served on the board of the Texas Council of Teachers of English Language Arts (TCTELA) and as liaison to NCTE. Leah Inoyatov is the Administrative Assistant for The Educator Collaborative. She is a student at Hofsta University in New York City. Leah has experience across companies and non-profits, supporting administrative functions, coordinating with clients and staff, and supporting daily operations.

Sarah Norsworthy is an Associate member of TheEdCollab. She is a doctoral student and veteran educator with vast experience teaching and coaching teachers and students, including most recently teaching in a virtual, combined-multiage classroom. He passions include reading education, education technology, and a depth of study and practice in anti-racism and supporting neurodivergent learners. Follow her on Twitter @SarahNorsworth3.

Dr. Sandra L Osorio is an associate professor who prepares preservice teachers in early childhood, bilingual, and English as a new language education. Previously, she was a Spanish bilingual teacher in early childhood classrooms for over 20 years. She is an author and current coeditor of the NCTE Language Arts Journal.
